Confluence giving weird exception "Invalid file name for use with -Xloggc" while running on ubuntu EC2 -

I have set Attlsian association -5.6.3. Tar.gz on my Ubuntu server hosted on Amazon EC 2 has been done. Whenever I am trying to start the confluence except the above file, so it looks: +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ run confluence +++++++++++ + foreground, start-confluence.sh -fg current user if you start the server with executing as trouble started confluence, please < / P> View the installation guide

The servers are located in the startup logs using CATALINA_HOME /home/ubuntu/atlassian-confluence-5.6.4: / home Use of /ubuntu/atlassian-confluence-5.6.4 CATALINA_TMPDIR /home/ubuntu/atlassian-confluence-5.6.4/logs/catalina.out CATALINA_BASE: JRE_HOME use /home/ubuntu/atlassian-confluence-5.6.4 / temp: / use CLASSPATH usr: /home/ubuntu/atlassian-confluence-5.6.4/bin/bootstrap.jar:/home/ubuntu/atlassian-confluence -5.6.4 / bin / Tomket-Julikjr Katliniapiaidi Using: /home/ubuntu/atlassian-confluence-5.6.4/work/catalina.pid Tomcat started. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ On checking on +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ I can see that the confluence has not started. /home/ubuntu/atlassian-confluence-5.6.4/logs/catalina.out to check the file I can see the following error: +++++++++++++++++++++ ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ +++++++++ Java Hotspot (TM) 64-bit server VM Alert: Unblock option MaxPermSize = 256m; Support dropped in 8.0 Error: Java Virtual Machine could not be created. Error: A fatal exception has occurred. The program will exit - Name of the invalid file for use with Xloggc: The file name can only include the letters [AZ] [az] [0-9] -_% [P | T] but it has been /home/ubuntu/atlassian-confluence-5.6. 4 / log / gc-2014-11-04_20: 26: 52.log note% P or% T can be used only once ++++++++++++++++++ +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ +++++++++++++++++++++

Thank you in advance for your help.

Problems on the same Debian 7 / JDK8 - The workaround will be used to edit setenv.sh: < Changed the date call in the -xloggc section to the code> date +% f from the date +% F_% T . Afterwards, touch < CONFLUENCE_HOME & gt; /logs/gc-2014-11-05.log play (in place of date). Sangam should start now
