python 3.x - When using cx_freeze, what files have to be updated to update the application? -

I want to apply an autoupdater to my Python application. This is not a problem in the source version; Python does not care about everything that the ongoing script is trying to overwrite itself.

However, an XE tries to overwrite itself, though Windows is my question, do I have to overwrite myself too? Or EXE is just an interpreter, and I only have to overwrite the library. Zip?

If this happens then is there any alternative to launching an updater application and closing the main ANSE?

In addition, exe becomes stamped with the version number associated with your application (you can view it in the file property). If you do not replace it, the number of that version will not change.

If you need to replace the exe, then I believe that this trick is to be copied to the temporary folder and to run it again so that it can replace the original. You can also look at the update framework, which you have to handle these types of details. I have not used it, so I do not know how it works.
